While it is a common sight, I found this decomposing branch very interesting for what was behind the bark.
The miniscule fruiting bodies were especially interesting.
Notice the rhizomorphic fungal growth...
I didn't try too hard to determine what these were from.
Next stop was Kendall Camp trail
Can you see the hidden cabin?
This is Golden Lake, on Senator's Highway south of Prescott.
I thought this was ingenious!
