Brilliant blue berries / pods. I'll have to ID them sometime.

More violet turkey tails, in great abundance

Some lovely small yellow mushrooms. These produced a pink sporeprint so were probably entoloma.

Similar, but dissimilar. Probably Hygrophorous (waxy caps)

After an hour of foraging, everyone returned with specimens and sorted them out.

And then the experts took each in turn and did their best to identify them and tell stories as time allowed.

These lobsterized russulas were found during the foray. As you can see, they were in abundance!
